Many people come to me believing they are blocked. Blocked in love. Blocked in money. Blocked in direction. Blocked in moving forward. But in systemic work, we often discover something else: not a block…but loyalty. Family Constellations teaches that loyalty operates at a level deeper than intention. We remain loyal not only to the people we love, but to the emotional structures that shaped us.
Many people who identify as “too sensitive” are not weak. They are often the most perceptive members of their family system. In systemic language, they may be unconsciously identified with someone who was not fully seen, processed, or integrated in the lineage. As Bert Hellinger emphasized, what is excluded does not disappear, it seeks belonging through someone.
After a Family Constellation, something in the system has moved. Not just emotionally, but structurally. The soul, the family field, the unconscious - all have been touched. This is why the period after a Family Constellation is just as important as the session itself. It is a sacred time of integration.
